If you need to replace 1 egg in a recipe try using 1/4 cup of applesauce plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. If you need to replace more than 1 egg, you can use a half cup of applesauce to replace 2 but the difference becomes more noticeable and you will probably be better off trying another recipe or a different egg substitute.
